Hi all,

found a useful website that all of us can tap on, especially for worship leaders.

Why is it useful?

-It provides chords and lyrics of songs, even the new ones!

-Searching for songs is a breeze here..

-You can transpose the chords of the songs you want with a click of the mouse!

-You can register yourself as a user and gain access to interesting articles and...
(the one i like most.. )

- worship leaders.. you can create worship sets that includes all the songs (and chords) you want to sing (in order, with comments)and send it to your musicians (AND Jared) in a matter of minutes!! It can save you time and unnecessary frustration from searching for chords of newer songs..

OR you can ask your musicians to go online to read and explore the worship set you have created. You can name your worship set.. so it is easy for them to find.

Here is an example of a worship set I have created for tomorrow.

the wow worship team blog.

Thank you Cheryl for coming up with the blog in such a short time!
I guess most of you (or should I say all of you) are familiar with blogging and need no introduction to the nature of blogging.

At this point, I feel it is necessary for me to share with u the rationale of having this blog.

Who is it intended for?
This blog, as mentioned, is for wow worship team members.

It is a tool for edification and encouragement purposes.
Words, whether written or said, direct or implied, can build or pull people down. Let us be careful about what we post up here on this blog- take time to think and pen our thoughts. I certainly hope that it would not become a tool for complains or other purposes other than what it was intended to be! It is like a testimony page.. with a purpose to glorify God and to direct others to be God-focused.

What to post then?
Anything (bible verses, pictures, links, comments, or even songs titles or lyrics-do acknowlege!) that will help us as we serve in the ministry. Just remember the rationale of the blog! ;p

The worship committee will ensure that this blog is being used appropriately. We welcome all constructive feedbacks!

God Seeks Worshippers, Not Just Worship

A very real message for our time; especially for many of us who grew up in church going through the motions..

Just a sample.

And we wonder why we are not experiencing the power of God in our worship services. Many of our worship services are just concerts. God is not just seeking worship; He’s seeking worshipers. Otherwise we could insert a CD of praise music and be done with it.
